Portland

The ability to take Swedish language classes here at Portland State was my main inspiration to return to college to finish my bachelor’s degree; I have been fascinated with Scandinavian culture from the time I was little, and my husband and I hope to move overseas someday, so I’m very excited that I will graduate with two years of Swedish under my belt. Being able to take Swedish language courses for my major has been a truly grand union between my personal and scholarly goals. I am very grateful for Professor Kreft-Tengblad and the amount of heart that she puts into teaching me and her other students!
